This fund primarily aims to achieve capital growth. Its core strategy involves investing in the common stock of companies based in, or economically connected to, developing and emerging markets across the globe. The portfolio has the flexibility to allocate up to 100% of its total assets to international securities. Under typical market conditions, at least 80% of the fund's net assets, along with any borrowed capital utilized for investment, will be committed to equity securities issued by companies whose principal operations are in, or have significant economic ties to, a developing market country. This 80% threshold also encompasses derivatives and other financial instruments that offer similar economic exposure to such securities.
